1/ Fluency and coherence (Tính trôi chảy và mạch lạc)
– Thể hiện khả năng nói trôi chảy của bạn, tránh dùng ‘erm’, ‘er’ or ‘like’
– Dùng các cách sau để có thêm thời gian suy nghĩ:
+ Oh, please give me a minute to think about this topic. I’ve never thought about it before.
+ That’s an interesting question.
+ Wow, that’s a tough one.
2/ Lexical Resource (Vốn từ vựng)
– Dùng cả từ ngữ đơn giản và nâng cao
- Simple vocabulary: My aunt’s cooking is delicious.
- Advanced vocabulary: My aunt’s cooking is mouth-watering/ scrumptious/ delightful
- Simple vocabulary: My sister is beautiful.
- Advanced vocabulary: My sister is stunning/ gorgeous/ drop-dead gorgeous
3/ Grammatical Range and Accuracy (Ngữ pháp đa dạng và chính xác)
– Thể hiện bạn có thể nói chính xác ngữ pháp và dùng được đa dạng các cấu trúc ngữ pháp khác nhau.
4/ Pronunciation (Kỹ năng phát âm)
– Phát âm chính xác
– Lưu ý phát âm âm đuôi (final sounds): /s/, /z/, /ɪz/ và /t/, /d/, /ɪd/

Quy tắc 1: Cố gắng diễn giải, không lặp lại câu hỏi (Try to paraphrase, don’t repeat the question)
Example: Do you like your house? – Yes, I absolutely love my home.
Like = Love
House = Home
Quy tắc 2: Không liệt kê (Do not list)
Quy tắc 3: Trả lời thẳng vào câu hỏi (Answer directly)

What I like most about it is that despite the rapid changes, people are still very friendly, and there’s a strong sense of community.

My hometown’s in the north of Quang Ngai province, Vietnam, and about 200,000 people live there. Back then, it was pretty quiet and there wasn’t much to do. Sample answer:
I have been working as an English teacher for the last 10 years. My job mainly involves preparing and delivering lesson plans. At the moment, I’m working from home. Previously, I was employed at a secondary school. I changed jobs several times in the past. Eventually, I decided to pursue teaching, as I remain passionate about this profession.
Or:
I’ve been teaching English for about 10 years now. Mostly, I make lesson plans and teach them. These days, I work from home. Before that, I used to teach at a secondary school. I switched jobs a couple of times. In the end, I stuck with teaching since I really enjoy it.

My mom is one of them, and I wanted to follow in her footsteps and pursue a career in medicine.
Or:
I have wanted to become a doctor since I was a child. Therefore, pursuing medicine was an obvious choice for me. I have always had deep admiration for healthcare professionals. I have consistently been impressed by doctors’ expertise, compassion, and their role in saving lives. I aspired to follow in my mother’s footsteps and pursue a career in medicine.
